Christine Tramontano

ACE NY Consulting Advocate, Government Affairs

Christine is a senior member of the Malkin & Ross team, overseeing the government affairs activities of multiple accounts. She provides political consultation and strategic advice to a variety of non-profit and business clients. Her work focuses on many practice areas including health, behavioral health, criminal justice, civil legal services, human services, and renewable energy.

Specializing in issue campaigns, Christine believes that developing good public policy requires a comprehensive approach and cannot not always be developed in a legislative vacuum. She helps clients develop successful advocacy plans that include traditional lobbying, but also place an emphasis on messaging, coalition building, and grassroots outreach. Her recent efforts have helped Raise the Age of criminal responsibility in New York from 16 to 18; establish and safeguard funding for the Clean Energy Standard, which requires 50% of the State’s energy to come from renewable sources by 2030; and secure millions in funding for public defense services and civil legal services for low income New Yorkers.

Christine is currently the first Vice President of the Albany Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors and an active volunteer with the Parent Teach Organization at her children’s school. Ms. Tramontano received a B.S. in Political Science from SUNY Plattsburgh and an MPP from George Washington University.
