Nick Guariglia
NYOWA Offshore Wind Outreach Manager
Nick Guariglia joined New York Offshore Wind Alliance, a project of ACE NY, in February of 2024 as Outreach Manager. As a lifelong resident of Long Island, he is excited to help educate the Long Island community about the benefits that come with offshore wind as a safe, reliable, and renewable energy.
Nick began his professional career working in various political roles with local and state government officials. Eventually landing at the Nassau County Legislature as Deputy Chief of Staff, where he developed a great working relationship with then-Legislator Judi Bosworth. When Judi Bosworth became the Supervisor of the Town of North Hempstead, he joined her staff serving as Deputy Chief of Staff/Director of Legislative Affairs.
His time with the Town of North Hempstead allowed him to dive into many projects and various roles. His last role was with Town Clerk Wayne Wink, serving as First Deputy Town Clerk. Since his time in local government, Nick moved on to serve as Managing Director with a media and fundraising firm based in the New York City before joining New York Offshore Wind Alliance.
Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from Stony Brook University. He currently lives on Long Island with his wife, daughter, and son. In his free time, he volunteers as an Executive Board Member of the Hampton Street School PTA, attends his son’s little league games, and attends his daughter’s dance recitals and competitions.
